How to Enter

Eligibility: The competition is open to New Zealand residents aged 16 years and under.
There are two age categories:

  • Category 1: 8 years and under
  • Category 2: 9–16 years old

Entries must be the child’s own, original work.

‍Submission Guidelines:

  • Complete the official colouring sheet provided.
  • Only one entry per child is permitted.
  • Entries must be submitted by 11.59pm 22 October 2025 via email to michaiah@iamhope.org.nz.
  • Late entries will not be accepted.

Judging: Entries will be judged on creativity, effort, and presentation.

Fantastic prizes up for grabs!

Two prize categories - 8 years and under. 9-16 year olds. Each category wins:
1st place - Torpedo7 Bike up to the value of $500 + I Am Hope Merch Pack
2nd place - Number One Shoes + Hannahs Voucher $250 + I Am Hope Merch Pack
3rd place - Number One Shoes + Hannahs Voucher $150 + I Am Hope Merch Pack

Winner Announcement: Winners will be announced on Gumboot Friday - 7th November 2025.

Colouring Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility
    - The competition is open to New Zealand residents aged 16 years and under.
    - There are two age categories:
    Category 1: 8 years and under
    Category 2: 9–16 years old
    - Entries must be the child’s own, original work.
    - There are no restrictions on participation. Employees or dependents of Ngahuia Group or I Am Hope can participate.‍
  2. How to Enter
    - Complete the official colouring sheet provided.
    - Only one entry per child is permitted.
    - Entries must be submitted by 11.59pm 22 October 2025 via email to michaiah@iamhope.org.nz.
    - Late entries will not be accepted.‍
  3. Judging
    - Entries will be judged on creativity, effort, and presentation.
    - The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.‍
  4. Prizes
    - 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded in each age of the two age categories.
    - 1st prize includes a bike up to the value of $500 from Torpedo7. The bike selected will be at the discretion of Ngahuia Group and suitable to the age of the winner. I Am Hope merch pack. 
    - 2nd prize includes a $250 voucher from Number One Shoes + Hannahs. I Am Hope merch pack. 
    - 3rd prize includes a $150 voucher from Number One Shoes + Hannahs. I Am Hope merch pack. 
    - Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
    - The organiser reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.‍
  5. Winners
    - Winners will be announced on 7 November 2025 (Gumboot Friday) via I Am Hope’s Facebook and Instagram page.
    - By entering, participants (and their parent/guardian) consent to their first name, age category, and entry being displayed publicly if they win.‍
  6. Social Media
    - By entering, participants (and their parent/guardian) consent to the entry being used on social media by either I Am Hope, Gumboot Friday or Number Ones Shoes + Hannahs‍
  7. Parental Consent
    - By submitting an entry, the child’s parent/guardian confirms they consent to their child’s participation in the competition and agree to these terms and conditions.‍
  8. General
    - The organiser accepts no responsibility for lost, late, or damaged entries.
    - The organiser reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition if circumstances beyond their control make it unavoidable.
